What file formats are supported?

Features

Screenshot capture fails

On newly opened pages, user permission is required for capture. Click the ZScreenshot extension icon to enable capture.

Old history doesn't appear after changing history count

The history count setting represents the maximum number of items to save. It applies to images and videos saved after the setting change. Past history cannot be restored.

Even when I select JPEG for screenshots, edited images are saved as PNG

This is by design. When using the image editor, the output format is always PNG.

What features are available in the Pro version?

Image editor (add text, shapes, arrows, etc.), Collection feature (combine multiple images into one), Bulk download (download all history images at once), and MP4 export (export recordings in MP4 format).

I see a message saying "ZScreenshot has started debugging this browser." Is this a problem?

No, this is not a problem. This notification is automatically displayed by Chrome when an extension modifies the browser's layout or viewport size. ZScreenshot uses Chrome's debugger API to temporarily access viewport dimensions to ensure screenshots are saved with accurate sizing. This is why the notification appears. The extension does not actually perform debugging operations, and there are no security concerns. You can use it with confidence. Note: If you click the "Cancel" or "✕" button on the notification dialog, the viewport modification process will be interrupted, and screenshots may not be captured with the correct dimensions. Please leave the notification as is.

License

Is the license one-time purchase or subscription?

It's a one-time purchase ($10) for a lifetime license. Once purchased, you can use it forever with no additional fees.

Can I use it on multiple computers?

1 license = 1 Google Account. You can use it on multiple devices as long as you're logged into the browser with the same Google Account.

I purchased a license but authentication fails

Please check the following: (1) You need to be logged into the browser with a Google Account (2) 1 license = 1 Google Account.
